Texas' Mike Williams to Transfer

According to head coach Rick Barnes, Texas forward Mike Williams has elected to transfer. It is not clear as to where Williams will end up. Barnes said, “We appreciate the work and effort Mike has put in with our basketball program the last two years and we wish him the best.” Williams, a former McDonald’s All-American, averaged 2.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game last season. Texas will now be without five of their top seven players from a year ago, and might lose another if Daniel Gibson stays in the NBA Draft.

  1. Yea, losing Mike Williams sucks, since he was starting to show promise at the end of the season, and especially in the tourney, but with the recent acquisition of Damion James - to go with Kevin Durant, DJ Augustin, and others - things are looking up on the 40 acres.

We will be young but talented and fun. Think UNC or Kansas from last season.

  2. I think Texas will still make the NCAA Tournament and will be a tough team come March.

If Gibson stays in the draft, they are going to have severe growing pains early on, though.

A.J. Abrams and D.J. Augustin at the guards, Kevin Durant and Damion James at the forwards, and Connor Atchley down low. Plus, they have a couple of incoming post players that will contribute.

If Gibson returns, Augustin will probably start on the bench.

  5. I truly believe that we have reached the point where technology has become one with our society, and I think it is safe to say that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory falls, the possibility of transferring our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could encounter in my lifetime.

  6. A guttural male bellow bounced off the cavern walls as that wouldbe rapist fell back. Once she found it, she turned it toward his breath, met his lips with hers. It may mean nothing to you, but I must say that Im proud of you. She even stood, with the vague intention of leaving the balcony. She let herself smile, let herself fall into him with relief. He pulled her into a hug. Gala caught Eyrhaen watching them and smiled. Soon Eyrhaen was whimpering as she sucked on Hyle, riding the rock of his hips. She needed to do this. The fact that I wasnt in control of my magic only made things worse. What do you think, Tyk? She probably deserved their scorn, but really, enough was enough. Does this mean you forgive me? He stroked gentle fingertips along her jaw. But it dawned on her the he he meant was Radin. She draped over Brevin, amazed anew by the sheer size of him. He, too, enjoys your garden. He adopted a teacher tone to replace the pained one. The curl to his lip was resigned. Dont you have magic for that?

  7. She pushed into the barrier again and sought his square chin and gorgeously wide mouth. His face was devoid of its former markings, the skin smooth and black and unblemished. Eyrhaens inability to control her gifts has brought about changes that should benefit us all. They had fought about it too often for Eyrhaen not to know what he meant. Eyes closed, she concentrated on breathing.
