Texas' Mike Williams to Transfer

According to head coach Rick Barnes, Texas forward Mike Williams has elected to transfer. It is not clear as to where Williams will end up. Barnes said, “We appreciate the work and effort Mike has put in with our basketball program the last two years and we wish him the best.” Williams, a former McDonald’s All-American, averaged 2.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game last season. Texas will now be without five of their top seven players from a year ago, and might lose another if Daniel Gibson stays in the NBA Draft.

New Article at SCS

Don't forget to check out my new article over at, "College Stars Testing NBA Waters".

It breaks down all the major players that have entered the NBA Draft and how their teams will be affected. Also analyzes how smart of a decision it was by the player as well as their possible potential early in their NBA careers.

"Every year it happens. All the analysts and experts discuss their top 25 for next season without knowing who's staying on campus and who'll be back next fall. Then, a few days after they release their predictions, unexpected players go pro, and their team's chances for next season take a hit." here to read the rest of the article.
