Texas' Mike Williams to Transfer

According to head coach Rick Barnes, Texas forward Mike Williams has elected to transfer. It is not clear as to where Williams will end up. Barnes said, “We appreciate the work and effort Mike has put in with our basketball program the last two years and we wish him the best.” Williams, a former McDonald’s All-American, averaged 2.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game last season. Texas will now be without five of their top seven players from a year ago, and might lose another if Daniel Gibson stays in the NBA Draft.

Then, a few days after they release their predictions, unexpected players go pro, and their team's chances for next season take a hit." ...click here to read the rest of the article.
