Ross-Miller leaning towards LSU

Former Kentucky commit K.C. Ross-Miller seems ready to make a college decision – and there is a fairly clear order on the final schools he is considering.

“LSU or Cincinnati,” said Tim Miller, Ross-Miller’s father and head coach at God’s Academy (Tex.). “LSU has a strong lead right now. Then Cincinnati is behind them, with Florida and Oklahoma State after that. Next would be Oklahoma and then Oral Roberts.”

Ross-Miller, a 6-0 point guard, took a visit to LSU this past weekend and enjoyed his time there.

“He loved his visit,” Miller said. “Plus he can come in and play immediately.”

Miller said that his son would announce his decision next week sometime, although the date has not been finalized yet.

He added that there is a possibility that Ross-Miller will take visits to Cincinnati and Florida before he decides, but those have yet to be solidified.

According to his father, Ross-Miller is having an excellent season thus far, averaging 28-29 points per game and also dishing out 10 assists per contest. God’s Academy is on a 10-game winning streak heading into a difficult stretch run.

Miller said that the biggest factor in Ross-Miller’s decision next week will be playing time.

“He’s not necessarily going to start, but he will play,” Miller said. “One school has a sophomore guard at his position, and the other doesn’t.”
