  1. 5-seed and North Carolina in the Sweet Sixteen? I'll take it, but oh my GOD that'd be tough. Ha.

  2. Getting ahead of yourself there, haha.

What about Oregon? They have the perimeter quickness to give you guys problems, and Leunen will be able to drag either Rhodes or Varnado away from the basket.

Hairston vs. Gordon would be a tremendous match-up. Both are versatile players who can handle the ball and play four positions if necessary.

  3. Only one team from the Valley? Your bracket fails miserably

  4. Only one team from what is going to be the ninth or tenth best conference in the country? How is that failing miserably?

Name another NCAA Tournament-worthy team from the MVC. None of them are as good -- going into the season -- as the teams that were the last few in the Big Dance in my bracket.

  5. Did Vernon Goodridge transfer from Mississippi State? I'm a Seton Hall fan and remember hearing rumors about him possibly coming here but nothing happened. I didn't want him to come here anyway.

Is he still on MSU or did he transfer somewhere else?

  6. I think Goodridge ended up transferring to La Salle.

  7. The WAC gets 2 in every year and I don't think this will be any different. Either Kemp and Nevada or Carroll and Utah State will sneak.
