Three Top-10 Home Upsets Brewing?

Although each game has plenty of time left in the second half, three of the best teams in the country are all trailing an unranked team. The interesting part? All three top-ten teams are on their homecourt.

No. 1 North Carolina is down 51-41 to Maryland with 15:39 left; No. 4 UCLA is trailing USC 44-37 with 15:32 left in the game; and No. 6 Tennessee is behind by seven to Ohio State, 46-39, with 15:45 left.

Could one or more of these teams get shocked on their own floor in the next hour? Stay tuned.

UPDATE (5:45 PM): Two of the three went down, as UNC lost to Maryland, 82-80, with Tyler Hansbrough missing a three at the buzzer, and UCLA fell to USC, 72-63. The Bruins didn't score in the final two minutes (more on that game later).

On the other hand, Tennessee pulled out a win over Ohio State, 74-69, which should pave the way for the Vols to move into the top-four in next week's rankings.
