Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament Preview

The Atlantic Sun Conference featured a great race for the conference title, as Gardner-Webb and Central Florida tied for the championship, and seven other teams were within three games of the aforementioned two.
Favorites: Central Florida is deep and is a great rebounding team. Joshua Peppers and Anthony Williams make a solid forward combo. Gardner-Webb has the best post duo in the league in Brian Bender and Simon Conn, while Tim Jennings is a producer on the perimeter. Belmont is a balanced club, with four double figure scorers.
Sleepers: Mercer is loaded on offense and their starting five is probably the best in the league. Florida Atlantic has the worst defense in the league, but can score on anyone.
Prediction: Gardner-Webb has been running the show the entire conference season and has been the leader almost all the way through. They have the best offense-defense balance and one of the best trios in the league. Central Florida could of course disrupt that run to the title, however.
