Wednesday Championship Previews

Montana vs. Weber State: The Big Sky Conference is one of the only leagues not to have either their #1 or #2 seed in the championship. #5 Weber State has the best player in the league in Lance Allred, who is a 20-10 guy every time he steps on the floor. However, he only had 6 and 8 in the semi-finals. Coric Riggs is a solid scorer, and Terrell Stovall is instant offense off the bench. #3 Montana split with Weber State during the season. The Grizzlies are very deep and have a great duo in Kamarr Davis and Kevin Criswell. Prediction: Weber State by 2

Wagner at Fairleigh Dickinson: The Northeast Conference is another league that has a low seed making a Cinderella run towards the league's automatic bid. #6 Wagner pulled off back to back upset victories, and is now in the title game. All-League forward Sean Munson is a monster on the interior and can carry the Seahawks. Mark Porter is a very good slasher and scorer, but the strength of this team is their depth. Nine guys average 5 points or more per game. They have won 11 of 12. #2 Fairleigh Dickinson has the best inside-outside combo in the league in Tamien Trent and Gordon Klaiber. Chad Timberlake is a great third option. They split the regular season meetings, but I think that FDU's Trent-Klaiber duo will offset the dominance of Munson. Prediction: Fairleigh Dickinson by 7
