Patriot League Tournament Preview

Holy Cross basically led this league from start to finish and won the regular season title by 3 games over Bucknell. There was only one other team to finish above .500 in the conference, and the number was the same for the amount of teams finishing with a .500 record overall.
Favorites: Holy Cross is a deep and balanced club, and they lead the league in scoring defense by a wide margin. Kevin Hamilton paces the Crusaders on offense, while Keith Simmons also produces on the wing. Bucknell had a very impressive year until they dropped five of their final ten. They are still an excellent defensive team that relies on the three-headed monster of Kevin Bettencourt, Charles Lee, and Chris McNaughton for scoring.
Sleepers: American is overlooked because of the two aforementioned teams but they have a great offensive-defensive balance, as well as a solid wing duo of Jason Thomas and Andre Ingram. Colgate has won four of their last six games and have four double figure scorers on offense.
Prediction: This league is going to come down to Holy Cross-Bucknell, of course. They split the regular season meetings. However, Holy Cross is dominating teams lately, winning 14 in a row by an average of almost 17 points per game. They have too much firepower for Bucknell and will get the automatic bid from the Patriot League.
