Tuesday Championship Preview

Detroit at Wisconsin-Milwaukee: UW-Milwaukee easily won their semi-final game, while Detroit has scored 61 points in each of the past two games. They are going to need more production on offense to win this game. Brandon Cotton and James Theus are the main guys for Detroit, while the Panthers counter with Ed McCants and Noah Tucker, the best duo in the conference. Along with Boo Davis and Adrian Tigert, UW-Milwaukee has too much firepower on offense, and can match Detroit in terms of defensive ability. Prediction: UW-Milwaukee by 8

Oral Roberts vs. Oakland: The Mid-Continent automatic bid is on the line in game that features the #1 and #7 seeded teams. Seeds 2-4 all lost in the first round of what has been a crazy conference tournament. Caleb Green and Ken Tutt are one of the best combos in the mid-major world, and are accompanied by gunner Luke Spencer-Gardner, and the league's leading assist man in Jonathan Bluitt. Oakland has a nice duo in Rawle Marshall and Cortney Scott. With both teams having loads of offensive weapons, the variety and balance of the Eagles should prevail. Prediction: Oral Roberts by 9

Denver vs. Lousiana-Lafayette: In one of the only conferences in the country that has the championship game matching the two teams with the best record, the Sun Belt's lone ticket to the Dance is up for grabs. Denver was the favorite and own two wins over UL-Lafayette already. They are balanced and have a go-to-guy in the paint in Yemi Nicholson. Lafayette is led by Tiras Wade, one of the best scorers in the league. They have good size across the board. Prediction: Denver by 3
