Mid-Major Stars That You Will Get to Know

Guys that will not last more than one round:
Caleb Green, Oral Roberts- Unstoppable big man leads the best #16 team in recent memory.
Jamar Wilson, Albany- Excellent one-on-one offensive player that can score in a variety of ways.
Jai Lewis, George Mason- Beast in the paint will have to pick up the slack left by Tony Skinn.
Christian Maraker, Pacific- One of the best big men around is inside-outside threat on offense.
Kevin Criswell/Andrew Strait, Montana- This duo could give Nevada problems in the first round.
Ibrahim Jaaber, Pennsylvania- Type of player not often seen in the Ivy League; quick and athletic.
Steve Burtt/Ricky Soliver, Iona- One of the best backcourts in the country can score with anyone.
Patrick O'Bryant, Bradley- Legit NBA prospect can score and block shots very well.
Brendan Winters, Davidson- Three-time SoCon Player of the Year is very good all-around player.
Nate Harris, Utah State- Efficient scorer who can take over a game for the Tigers.

Guys that can carry their teams to a win or two:
T.J. Carter, UNC-Wilmington- Very solid all-around player who carried Seahawks to the tourney.
Jamaal Tatum, Southern Illinois- All-around player that can score efficiently going to the basket.
Charles Lee/Chris McNaughton, Bucknell- The Bison won't sneak up on anyone this season with these two.
Torrell Martin, Winthrop- 6-6 wing will have to carry the Eagles if they are to win a game.
Brandon Heath/Marcus Slaughter, San Diego State- One of the best inside-outside duos in the tourney.
Joah Tucker, Wisconsin-Milwaukee- Extremely difficult matchup on the offensive end.
Paul Miller, Wichita State- MVC Player of the Year works hard and can score and rebound well.
Nick Fazekas, Nevada- All-American candidate dominated down the stretch of the season.
Clifton Lee, Northwestern State- If the Lions are to pull an upset, Lee will have to lead the way.
Antoine Hood, Air Force- Falcons shouldn't be in the tourney, but Hood is a major talent.
