- 1. Seattle: Cameron Dollar and co. lose Charles Garcia, but an excellent recruiting class joins Aaron Broussard and Cervante Burrell.
- 2. North Carolina Central: All five starters return from last season; they will join the MEAC next season.
- 3. Longwood: The Lancers have a great inside-outside duo in Aaron Mitchell and Antwan Carter.
- 4. Savannah State: Rashad Hassan and Arnold Louis form a very solid interior duo for the future MEAC school.
- 5. Cal State Bakersfield: The Roadrunners will be led by the backcourt tandem of Stephon Carter and Donovan Bragg.
- 6. SIU-Edwardsville: The provisional Ohio Valley school has arguably the league’s best player in Mark Yelovich.
- 7. New Orleans: The school is transitioning to Division-III and don’t have scholarships to hand out – they will struggle.
